This privacy policy explains which personal data we process in connection with our website infra-sens.io, for what purpose, and what rights you have. It is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Principle: as little data as possible

Our website is purely informational. There are no contact forms, no user accounts and no newsletter, and we do not show any advertising. We use the analytics service Google Analytics only with your consent (see below). Without your consent, our website sets no cookies.

Server log files

When you visit our website, your browser automatically transmits data to the server of our hosting provider, METANET AG, Zurich, for technical reasons. The website is hosted in Switzerland. This includes:

  • IP address
  • date and time of access
  • page or file requested
  • previously visited page (referrer)
  • browser type and operating system

This data is used solely to provide the website, ensure its security and analyze errors. It is not combined with other data and is deleted after a short period, unless it is needed to investigate a security incident. The legal basis under the GDPR is our legitimate interest in secure and stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Fonts

The typeface used on this website is stored locally on our server. No connection is made to Google or other font providers when you visit the website.

Contact by email or phone

If you contact us by email or phone, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, email address, phone number, content of your request) in order to respond to your inquiry. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

Job applications

Application documents you send us by email are used exclusively for the application process. They are deleted once the process is complete, unless you have consented to longer retention.

Google Analytics

If you click “Accept” in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, or Google LLC, USA. Without your consent, Google Analytics is not loaded.

Google Analytics sets cookies (e.g. “_ga”, stored for up to 2 years) and collects information about your use of the website, such as pages visited, time spent, approximate location (country/region), device type, browser and the website you came from. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. We only use this information in aggregated form to improve our website. It is not combined with other data.

The data may be transferred to Google servers in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework. The collected data is deleted after no more than 14 months.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer; the analytics cookies are then deleted. For more information, see Google’s privacy policy.

Your choice in the cookie banner is stored in your browser’s local storage so that the banner does not reappear on every page. This information is not transmitted to us.

Google Maps

On our contact page you can display a Google Maps map (provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, or Google LLC, USA). The map is only loaded once you actively click on it. Only then is data such as your IP address transmitted to Google, possibly also to the USA, and Google may set cookies. The legal basis is your consent given by clicking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). For more information, see Google’s privacy policy.

Our website contains links to external services, e.g. LinkedIn. If you follow such a link, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies. We have no influence on their data processing.

InfraCloud

This privacy policy applies to the website infra-sens.io. The use of our InfraCloud platform is governed by the respective contractual agreements with our customers.

Data security

The connection to our website is encrypted with HTTPS. We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorized access.

Your rights

Within the scope of applicable data protection law, you have the right to access the personal data we process about you, as well as the right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time; for Google Analytics directly via “Cookie settings” in the footer. To exercise these rights, please contact info@infra-sens.io.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority; in Switzerland, this is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

Changes

We may amend this privacy policy at any time. The version published on this website applies.
